Winter Boulder League Starts This Week

Spring & Summer Camps | Cultivate Climbing

Climb. Explore. Build Confidence

Week-long spring and summer camps where kids learn resilience, make friends, and discover what they’re capable of; one climb at a time.

What Makes These Camps Different

We’re Asheville’s original and only indoor climbing gym, not a traditional camp; which means your kids learn from coaches who know the sport inside and out. Climbing teaches kids something most activities don’t: how to fail, get back up, and try again. At Cultivate, campers spend the week practicing resilience alongside peers; learning technique, sure, but also how to give encouragement, receive it, and approach challenges with positivity.

It’s an individual pursuit that becomes collaborative through problem-solving, communication, and fun. Kids of all ages and experience levels climb together, building teamwork and confidence in a supportive, coach-led environment.

A Typical Camp Day

Campers stay active throughout the day with scheduled blocks for climbing, interactive games, and creative outlets. We take plenty of breaks to stay hydrated and refuel with light snacks. Each week includes a special midweek outing when weather allows.

What You Need To Know

Safety & Supervision

Our 13,000 sq. ft. facility gives campers plenty of room to explore while staying under direct supervision at all times. With a maximum 1:6 coach-to-kid ratio, your child gets the attention and support they need to climb safely and confidently.

Rental climbing shoes are included in the camp cost. All campers must have a completed waiver on file before their first day; sign it online in advance to save time at drop-off.

This camp works for all levels: first-timers and experienced climbers alike. Rock climbing is a personal sport, everyone progresses at their own pace. Campers work alongside kids of all ages and backgrounds, learning to communicate, collaborate, and problem-solve together. Whether your child has never touched a climbing wall or climbs every weekend, they’ll be challenged, supported, and part of a team.

Spots are limited each week, so sign up early to secure your preferred dates. Families can register for one week or multiple weeks throughout the summer.
